Designed to be loud and clear even at highway speeds, these motorcycle speakers can be paired with any compatible amplifier and are easily mounted to the handlebars or highway bars of your Harley-Davidson®, Honda, Yamaha, Victory and more.
I'm interested in the ST900 for my H-D Road King. Out of the 4 Inch and 5.25 inch, which one produces the most bass?
They both produce nice bass, but you will get a fuller, heavier bass with the 5.25" speakers due to the larger woofer.
Do they have a volume control?
These are for the speakers only and will connect to an amplifier, stereo or other audio device that typically have their own volume control. We also offer an inline volume controller here: https://www.steelhorseaudio.com/products/volume-controller
Do they come in 3" and do they just plug into the amp with RCA
The speakers are available in 4" only. Anything smaller will not push enough wattage for highway use. These speakers will connect to any amplifier using standard (+) and (-) speaker wires.
How many AMPs do these speakers pull? Need to know what size fuse I need to install for these.
The AMP draw would be based on the amplifier that you use. It can range form 5 amps up to 20+ amps, but the specs would be included with the amplifier.
What are the measurements of the speaker housings?
All 3 motorcycle speakers (ST200, ST400, ST600) use the same size speaker housings, measuring 4.5" diameter by 3" depth.
What is the peak watts these can handle?
'PEAK' wattage is as follows: ST200 = 210W | ST400 = 400W | ST600 = 900W+
I was wondering if I could replace my Harley boom handlebar speakers with the ST-SPKR speakers, and would all I have to do is cut and splice?
You would also need to replace the amplifier, as the one with the Boom system is not strong enough to power Steel Horse Audio speakers. The best option would be to use our trade in program for the Boom speakers and then go with a new system from us.
Do you have 6.5 inch speaker pods that are like your 4 inch pods?
We only go up to 4" speaker sizes as anything larger is just too big and clunky for most bikes.
